January 29, 2010

Studio Six and Kalayaan Cultural Community Centre are proud to present a Valentine Concert on Saturday, February 13, 2010 entitled ‘Fly me to the Moon’ featuring talented performer Josie De Leon in the Grand Hall of Kalayaan Centre. Josie has graciously accepted to sing to help raise funds for KCCC. She will be singing love songs that will relive her love, life, and music. Other Filipino community talents will include: Jules Tinsay, who will serenade his audience with classics originally rendered by Michael Buble; Leander Mendoza, who is well known to the Filipino-Canadian community and garnered an award as Best Actor in Music Theater Mississauga when he played The Engineer in Miss Saigon; as well as featured artists Pamela Marucot and Rommel Billanes.

In addition to these brilliant and heart-felt performances the guests will also receive dinner and have a chance to dance their hearts out on the spacious dance floor at Kalayaan Centre. The doors open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 each.
