During the special televised program of ABS-CBN, son and family spokesman, Eric Quizon said, “Our family has gone through an ordeal this whole month, but an ordeal we enjoyed, because it brought us all together. We even broke the rules of ICU at Makati Medical which permits only two visitors at a time, we were 18 plus the extended family children! . . . Our Dad was happy because we all came to see him, he ‘threatened to go several times,’ but he came back each time, so it was tears and smiles all the way. But I think he is happy and peaceful now. ‘Uuwi na ako,’ he kept saying, ‘uuwi na ako’ Kaya we’re not saying goodbye, we’re wishing him well as he goes home!”
