The Filipinos Making Waves Festival (FMWF) is scheduled on August 18, 2012 at the Yonge and Dundas Square in the heart of Toronto City, Ontario, Canada.

The festival is aimed to continue promoting the Filipino cultural heritage, music, arts, crafts and food.
It will not only cater to the Filipino community but more so to Canadians and foreign tourists coming from other parts of the world.
Ms. Teresa MendozaTorralba is ably spported by her husband, Ramon Torralba, a well-known musician in the Philippines who was an original member of the famous HOTDOG BAND in the 70's,
The wife and husband team are working hard to promote the Philippines by way of showing the people of the Filipino cultural heritage through arts and music although they also include the Filipino made products according to both of them will eventually attract more foreign visitors to visit the beautiful Philippines whose people's hospitality is very much well-known globally specially those foreign visitors who have touched and visited the country.
Jed Madela, a Filipino well-known belter all over the world will be coming to grace the 2012 Filipinos Making Waves Festival and to be augmented by young and atalented Filipino-Canadian singers from Toronto City and neighbouring cities and towns.
The Yonge-Dundas Square so close to the Eaton Centre Mall where people from all walks of life are doing their shoppings
