Hundreds of people have witnessed on how Mel Panganiban, a manager of a five star hotel awarded as the new grand champion of Himig Ng Kalayaan 2011, the most prestigious singing competition in Jeddah held recently at the grand ballroom of Golden Tulip Hotel.

Mel Panganiban gasped when he was announced as the grand champion.

The remarkable event with its theme “Pista Sa Nayon” exclusively produced and staged by Pinoy Expatriates for Social Organization and Sports (PESOS) was a resounding success and also in line with the commemoration of the 113th declaration of Philippine Independence Day.

Jeddah - The first audition of Himig Ng Kalayaan 2011 held at La Parilla Restaurant last Friday was a huge success.

There were twelve aspiring Himig contestants auditioned in this most prestigious singing competition in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia produced by the Pinoy Expatriates for Social Organization & Sports (PESOS)....
